Pet aftercare is an extension of the care you provide in your hospital. That’s why we partner with veterinary clinics throughout South Florida to offer dignified, seamless cremation services that honor both pets and the families who love them.

Founded in 2018 by Dr. Mary Gardner, a veterinarian specializing in end-of-life care (co-Founder Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice), and managed by her brother Allan Gardner, Monarch was created to provide ethical, respectful, and environmentally conscious cremation services for all pets.

We are proud to serve veterinary clinics in Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, St Lucie’ and Martin Counties and offer flexible, reliable pickup schedules to meet your hospital’s needs.

  • Seamless Clinic Pickup & Returns – We offer weekly or bi-weekly pickup from your hospital, with cremains returned within two weeks. Urns can also be mailed directly to the pet’s family if preferred.
  • Aquamation Available – We provide water-based cremation (Aquamation), an eco-friendly, flame-free alternative to traditional cremation.
  • Comprehensive Aftercare Package for Private Cremation – Each pet receives a personalized urn (the pet’s paw print is engraved directly on the urn), engraved paw print, fur clipping, ink paw impression, and a memorial bookmark.
  • Support for Veterinary Teams – We help clinics handle unclaimed urns by offering ocean scattering services, ensuring pets are respectfully laid to rest.

How Our Veterinary Cremation Services Work

Reliable Pickup & Transport

  • Monarch picks up pets from your clinic weekly or bi-weekly, based on your hospital’s needs.
  • If a family requests at-home pickup, we can coordinate directly with them.

Cremation & Personalized Memorials

Private Cremation Includes:
Individualized cremation
  • Clay paw print (engraved with pet’s name)
  • Fur clipping in a glass jar
  • Ink paw print on cardstock
  • Wooden urn with etched name & paw impression
  • Personalized cremation certificate

Ashes Returned to Clinic or Family

  • Cremains are returned to the hospital within two weeks or mailed directly to the family for a $40 shipping fee instate and $80 out of Florida (signature required).

Family Viewing & Time for Goodbye

We understand that some families may want additional time with their beloved pet before the aquamation process. Monarch offers private viewing options at our facility, allowing families a peaceful and respectful space to say their final goodbyes. If a client expresses this wish, please let us know. We are honored to accommodate this meaningful moment.

Additional Services for Veterinary Partners

  • Private Viewings – Some families wish to say one last goodbye before cremation. Monarch provides viewing services by appointment, Monday–Friday at no additional cost.
  • Ash Spreading for Unclaimed Urns – If your clinic has urns that families never picked up, Monarch offers ocean scattering services for $25 per urn.
  • Solving Medical Mysteries – because of aquamation, foreign objects like implants or ingested materials (you would be surprised what we find!) remain intact, occasionally solving mystery diagnoses without the need for necropsy.
